Celina Recalde was born in Victoria, Texas and grew up not far away in Bloomington, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Corporate Finance in 1998 from St. Mary’s University of San Antonio. She continued her education at St. Mary’s School of Law and earned a Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2001 and became licensed that same year. During her time in law school, Ms. Recalde worked at Texas Rural Legal Aid helping individuals who could not afford legal representation with family law and other civil law matters.
After graduating she started her law career at a small boutique law firm in San Antonio representing injured individuals. She then accepted a position in a larger law firm in Houston, where she went on to become a partner. She gained experience fighting against big business and insurance companies to help her clients receive medical treatment and compensation. Today, she continues to fight for her clients’ rights with the same tenacity.
When she created the Recalde Law Firm, PLLC, in 2014 she expanded her practice to include family law. Her dedication to each and every client drives her performance in the courtroom.
As a Houston family law attorney, Ms. Recalde leads her office to provide personal and efficient legal services to all those that she represents.
Ms. Recalde is also an active member the community. She is a volunteer lawyer with the Harris County Infant and Toddler Court and She serves on the Board of Directors for Bridging Beyond Borders, an organization that support bilingual education.
